Today, I'm going to be sharing with you how to remove Winrar (Zip) password.
Like we all know, zipping your file is a very great utility for computer and mobile phone users. Take for instance, sometime ago, I needed to transfer an 8.4GB folder from my computer to a colleague's but I only had access to an 8GB flash drive.
The thing about these flash drives is that they have less space than the quoted size (which I hate), so I actually had 7.8GB space available on the drive.
Initially, I was pensive because the file was needed urgently. But after some serious thought, I remembered that zipping a file would not only zip it but also compress it.
I had never done it before (I mean compressing a folder), but I set to work zipping the folder and guess what? I was able to gain an extra 300MB space for the flash drive.
How? The folder was compressed to about 7.45GB. This is one of the many benefits of compressing your files!
Now back to the purpose of this tutorial, I recently came across a software, Winrar Password Remover, which helps you remove Winrar(Zip) password from your Winrar(Zip) file. The process for using it is pretty simple and very straight forward as outlined below:
⇨ First off, you need to download Winrar Password Remover.
⇨ After downloading, you'll need to install it.
⇨ After installation, Double Click on the program icon (on your desktop or start menu)
⇨ In the Winrar Password Remover interface, click on Browse.
⇨ In the dialogue box that appears, select the file you want to remove the password from and click open. Alternatively, just double click on the file. This takes you back to the Winrar Password Remover interface.
Note:
◇ You'll see a text box below the Browse image with the location address of the file you've just selected.
◇ If this text box is blank, repeat the step 5 above.
⇨ Click on the Remove password image below the text box.
⇨ Wait a few seconds for the password to be removed!
⇨ Once the password removal process is completed, you'll see a notice that reads: "you can unrar the file without being asked box password"!
That does it. Now your Winrar(Zip) file can be extracted/explored without the usual password prompt.
